Mount Zion
As you leave a place of comfort or a place that you have always known and understood, you’ll often feel lost. Whenever you feel that your life has been uprooted, and you are faced with new challenges that don’t make your life any easier, when you are grieving or feel rejected know that when you are in Zion you will be at peace.
From that day we will not have the struggle of our worldly desires or pleasures, we will not destroy ourselves chasing after acceptance of society or of a culture. We will be free of our burdens, our hurts, we will no longer be broken.
For Mount Zion is a City of Holiness and a City of Refuge, where we are called to. And in this place the LORD Jesus Christ will be there for each of us. As he has always been, our Saviour will rule over us and we his sheep will have our cups filled by the promised living water.
Pray with me:
- Pray with me in thanks for we have been promised new life.
- Pray for comfort and peace in our daily struggles that we will have on Earth.
- Pray that we can be settled in new spaces.
- Pray that we all stay strong in our faith that it may not be swayed by evil.
- Pray for God’s continuous guidance (that he may lead our feet).
