Centre Director

Job Summary

To lead Swindon Youth for Christ as it provides young people across the Borough of Swindon with the opportunity to discover and follow Jesus. The aim is to build disciples of Christ who will be empowered to serve Him, building relationships within local churches as they rely on God for spiritual growth.

The post holder will work under the direction of the Trustees and will take a strategic lead in motivating the staff and the wider volunteer team to ensure that SYFC’s mission is fully resourced and delivered to the highest standards. This reflects our ethos of partnership across the churches of Swindon, alongside contacts with other groups such as the local council and other stakeholders.

Although there is no active Churches Together group in Swindon, we would expect the successful applicant to become part of the Good News for Swindon network.
