Today we are mourning the death of Her Majesty the Queen. As I write this I am listening to tributes and outpourings of love and affection for this very humble, generous and gracious woman. She took her oath to serve her country very seriously and did so right up until the day she passed away. She was a special lady, she served with great humility and kindness at all times and she will be sorely missed. Her faith was an integral part of her life and the quote above shows just how much it meant to her and how she chose to live her life – doing small things with great love.
Today our thoughts go to her family and especially to our new King, King Charles III as, in the midst of his grief at loosing his beloved mother, he steps up to do his duty as our King.
