Who Are We Winning Approval From?
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please
people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
Galatians 1:10 NIV
A common issue I have as a follower of Jesus is that I want to please everyone. I don’t like
negative conflicts or confrontation. When I am put in these situations I often feel worried, and I
often slip up.
As I’ve grown older so has my confidence to be more honest with those around me. I am able to
share my faith and speak about it without feeling guilty.
I still have my bad days, and I still slip up when trying to please and make others happy.
I pray that we as the body of Christ have confidence to speak, to be honest and to be prepared.
I pray that our goal is to please the father, not humans.
I pray that we can go out politely but also stick to his word.
