The times, they’re a changin’
The way in which we live our life has changed dramatically in 2020. Our whole outlook on life has changed and it’s scary times for everyone. It’s during these times we need to come together and embrace ourselves in love, show kindness and look out for one another. With so much uncertainty and fear we should keep each other close, hold each other tighter and respect each other. The words we say to each other will effect the way we operate and feel, whether that’s being nice or being mean. One comment can be all someone may think about. The truth is we don’t understand how others actually feel inside. People hide their true feelings, it’s their form of defense. They pretend everything is okay when in reality it’s miles from okay. We can never assume how someone acts or behaves because we have no idea what’s truly going on. We don’t know what they’ve been through or how they are feeling. With this in mind, we should show kindness – it is a power that we all have inside and we need to use it. Its my belief that we all carry certain problems or situations which affect us and sometimes what we need is kindness and respect. Everything we know and are used to has changed – meeting family members, friends, mixing with people – all of the normal things that now just don’t happen. Unfortunately the normal that we used to know won’t be happening for a long while, we must get use to these changes and understand that this is the way to stay safe. Some of these changes we may not agree with or may not want to put into place, but we do need to understand that this is the right thing to do and the way forward at the present time. We must embrace these changes and put them into the way we live our life. We must look to God for comfort during these times, we have to walk down the path with him and follow his teachings.
