Swindon Youth for Christ is a Christian youth work organisation that is passionate about working together to see the good news taken relevantly to every young person in Swindon.
Who do we work with?
We believe in the power of the local church, so this is who we work to empower and equip. We believe that should we be able to sit in the gap and provide churches with the necessities that they are unable to do, we can see the youth work that they want to provide be accomplished.
Why do we work with churches?
The church is the biggest employee of youth workers across the country, and the youth work that they provide is a holistic approach that encompasses peoples spirituality and well-being at the heart of its work. We believe that the love is demonstrated within the church and God is something good and worth sharing about.
So how are we partnering with the local church?
Well, this looks like many ways however after embarking on a new strategy which involves research and consultation, some of what we do includes events, outreach, youth work residentials, supporting youth workers both individually and collectively, and training.
